After a long deployment at the US border, the men and women of the 3-227th AHB, 3rd Battalion, 227th Regiment Attack Helicopter Battalion, were finally back home. A Warriors Table, with the assistance from another non-profit, 300 Justice Road, eagerly provided the meal for a day of fun, games, and relaxation. At the end of the day, the winning Company took home the coveted trophy. It is days like this that remind us of why we do what we do. The chance to speak with the pilots and crews, expressing our gratitude for what they do. And it does not hurt when they come to us and shake our hand, thanking for us taking the time to cook for them. We will always be honored to feed out active duty military heroes, and will do so with an humble sense of pride.
