It was a chilly 19 degrees in Oklahoma City the morning we started the fires for Tinker Air Force Base. On a beautiful morning surrounded by AWACS, the team at AWT prepared the meal. The event took place in a hanger with one wall covered by the largest American flag any of us had ever seen. A favorite quote of ours came during this meal, when one airmen told us he had no idea that BBQ could be that good.
