The Eighth Air Force has been exceptionally busy over the past several months, with its Airmen deploying around the world and serving in both friendly and hostile environments. Their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to the mission have taken them far from home and placed extraordinary demands upon them.

When A Warriors Table received a call from Eighth Air Force Headquarters asking about our availability in July, we were more than happy to work with them. We understood that this would be more than just another meal—it was an opportunity to welcome Airmen home and show our appreciation for what they had done and the sacrifices they had made.

Because of the special occasion, we added pork ribs to the menu, knowing they would be a welcome addition for those returning from deployment. Our goal was simple: provide a great meal, create a moment of fellowship, and give these Airmen an opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves after months of demanding service.

Colonel Jessica Critcher, 2nd Bomb Wing, welcomed everyone and took a moment to personally thank the Airmen for what they had recently experienced and accomplished. Her words served as a meaningful reminder that their efforts had not gone unnoticed.
